There's something about Salt-Away

Coming in the wake of the success of Cemstrip – Everbuild’s environmentally friendly cement remover – Everbuild Building Products are pleased to announce the launch of another innovative surface treatment; Salt Away.

In the short time since its release Salt Away – which removes salt and unsightly white efflorescence from bricks, stone and concrete – has proved a huge success. With customers remarking that ‘there’s something about Salt-Away’, Everbuild couldn’t have anticipated a better response to a product. Some people have been so impressed with the originality and performance of Salt-Away that they have even been asking why no-one has ever made this product before!

Efflorescence is commonly caused when soluble salts within building materials, or dissolved salts are transferred into building materials by water. At the surface of the material the water containing these salts then evaporates leaving behind unsightly white deposits. As any builder will know, if left untreated efflorescence can cause corrosive damage to many building surfaces as well as making an eye-sore of a brilliant job. Everbuild saw this frequent problem occurring and vowed to do something about it hence Salt-Away was born! Using new technology Everbuild have found the ideal solution to the problem and the positive response suggests that users of the product agree.

Salt-Away is available in both a 5 litre jerry can and a 1 litre spray bottle so every application need is covered. To find out why there’s ‘something about Salt-Away’ as well as the other products in Everbuild’s range of surface treatments please contact your Everbuild sales representative, or telephone the Everbuild sales office on 0113 240 2424.
